The Priority Indexer is an advanced feature available in Linkbot that automatically identifies content pages on your site that are not indexed by Google and attempts to improve their chances of getting indexed using intelligent internal linking.
🚀 How It Works
Once enabled in your Property Settings, the Priority Indexer runs a scheduled background task that:
Scans your sitemap to detect which pages are missing from Google’s index using a programmable search API.
Cross-references your existing traffic data to identify high-performing pages within your domain.
Automatically inserts internal links from these high-traffic pages to the unindexed pages to help them get discovered by Google.
Monitors impact, so you can see which pages were indexed after being boosted by Linkbot.
🧪 Why This Matters
Many pages remain unindexed due to lack of internal links or low site authority. Strategic internal linking is one of the most effective ways to prompt Google to crawl and index your content. Linkbot now does this for you—automatically.
🔧 Setup Instructions
Go to Property Settings
Navigate to your Property → Settings → Scroll to “Enable Priority Indexer.”
Toggle the switch ON to activate the service.
Let Linkbot Collect Data
Linkbot uses pageview tracking to determine which of your pages have the highest engagement. Wait a few days after enabling the feature if your account is new, so we can prioritize properly.
Automatic Internal Links Are Added
The system will create up to 30 new internal links per week to your unindexed pages using the same logic as Dynamic Content Snippets.
⚙️ Advanced Details
Internal links are injected via your Linkbot JavaScript snippet and use the same mechanism as dynamic snippets.
Pages are selected based on:
Keyword/topic similarity
Page traffic (pulled from our analytics layer)
Low existing outbound link saturation
Snippet generation is handled via GPT-4 to maintain contextual relevance.
Snippets are only inserted if they pass a relevance threshold
🔐 Limits and Control
Maximum of 30 URLs per week will be boosted per property.
The system will wait until enough data is available before triggering actions on newly created properties.
📥 FAQs
Q: Can I choose which pages to boost?
Not currently. The system automatically selects unindexed URLs and the best source pages based on traffic and keyword relevance.
Q: Will these links show in my regular report?
Yes! They’re shown under a labeled “Priority Indexer” section within the same UI as Dynamic Content Links.
Q: Will this affect my site’s performance?
No. All links are added via asynchronous JavaScript and only to your approved content areas.
Q: What if my site isn’t in Google’s index at all?
You must ensure your property is accessible and your sitemap is indexable. We recommend submitting your sitemap to Google Search Console.
